| Guía
de museos del Perú |
|
| In
August and September 2002, devastating floods struck
Central Europe (Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic),
and other recent disasters also indicate the topicality
of the theme of Museum Security and Disaster Preparedness.
The papers delivered review the types of disasters threatening
cultural heritage, whether natural (fire, floods, earthquakes,
etc.) or man-made (theft, looting, vandalism, war, terrorism). |
